General Information

We now only offer weekly rentals for July and August, but still offer 2 day minimum rentals all other months we are open.

Each housekeeping cottage is fully furnished with a full kitchen, microwave, coffeemaker. All cottages have a full bathroom, equipped with showers. Each cottage has its own fire pit and BBQ with one complimentary tank of propane. Satellite Television is available. All cottages have everything you need to cook and serve meals including utensils. Each cottage has a water cooler with one complimentary jug of water. Bath, hand and tea towels are provided, right down to the dish and hand soap.  Dockage available.

• $20.00 extra person rate per day
• $120.00 extra night rate
• $10.00 charge for linens per bed
• $20.00 wheelbarrow full of wood
• $10.00 air mattress rental
• $20.00 sleeping bag rental
• $5.00 charge is required for the Satellite TV
• $5.00 charge for any additional water jugs
• $20.00 charge for each additional propane tank

All monies collected go towards upgrading and making sure Kat Tail Cottages looks great!!

 Cottage deposits and check-in times

NOTE: 50% deposit is required at time of booking. Balance due upon check in. Cancellations require 14 days notice prior to check in date. Deposit will be refunded, but subject to 15% administration fee OR deposit may be used for a future booking within 1 year penalty free. Cancellations less than 14 days, deposit is non-refundable. All prices in Canadian dollars and subject to 13% HST.

Check in time is 3:00 pm, check out time until 10:00 am. Get in an early morning fish before you leave.

Boat rentals

We now have two fishing boats and two canoes which can be rented.

Boat rentals are only available on weekends and are subject to a security deposit.

Motor boat rentals must have proof of a valid pleasure craft license.

 
14 foot fiberglass fishing boat with 9.9HP motor – Daily $75 – Weekly $375
12 foot aluminum fishing boat with 9.9HP motor – Daily $75 – weekly $375
Comes with Safety kit, life jackets, 2 oars, and an anchor

Rent for 2 days or more and get free 12L of gas and oil mixture.
$300 cash security deposit required

14 foot fibreglass canoe – $30/ day – $ 150 weekly
16 foot fibreglass flatback canoe – $30/ day – $ 150 weekly
Comes with Safety kit, life jackets, 2 oars

$100 cash security deposit required
